Back to the Bottle - Deerhammer American Single Malt Whiskey Batch #62
I couldn't wait to get back to the bottle on this American Single Malt Whiskey from Deerhammer Distilling Company in Buena Vista, CO. I didn't wait long to open it when we got home from visiting the distillery because I really liked everything we tasted during our visit so I wanted to know if I was under the spell of the rack house. Maybe any old whiskey would taste good if enjoyed amidst all those barrels of aging stock. I'm happy to report that I love this whiskey as much in my living room as I did standing in the rack house. Lovely fruit notes and an amazing chocolate flavor on the nose and the palate. If you can, get a bottle of this and let us know what you think. Cheers!
