Open the Bottle - Elijah Craig 18-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey
Is 18 years too long for bourbon to stay in a barrel? In the case of this Elijah Craig, no it is not. This is delicious bourbon whiskey! We've never had a chance to taste this whiskey and, even at $150, it is wonderful all around. 90 proof maybe cause some grumbling among whiskey geeks but I'd encourage them to give it a chance. It is a full-bodied flavorful pour and just doesn't leave anything out of the experience. Cheers!
