Open the Bottle - Russell's Reserve 6-year-old Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
Once again, I'm putting my Wild Turkey appreciation on display with this 6-year-old Russell's rye. This bottle was also included in a recent attempt to determine if I could tell Wild Turkey 101 rye whiskey, this Russell's Reserve 6 yr rye, Wild Turkey Rare Breed rye, Russell's Reserve Single Barrel rye, and Wild Turkey Master's Keep Cornerstone rye whiskey apart from each other. Turns out, I'm not so good at doing that but it was an opportunity to return to this bottle, which I had not had in more than four years. It should be clear by now that I just like Wild Turkey produced whiskey and their ryes are some of my favorites. Luckily, other than the Cornerstone, they are easy to find and are still priced within reason. Cheers!
