Open the Bottle - Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Kentucky Straight Rye Whiskey
We are certainly fans of both Wild Turkey bourbon and rye whiskeys and this is one we hadn't had yet. With only one rye whiskey recipe to make all their rye whiskey from, could it really be that this bottle is worth three times the price of a Wild Turkey Rye 101? Could it be that much better? Well, it's non-chill filtered and certainly older and likely lived in the choicest of warehouse spaces so maybe, hopefully, it doesn't disappoint. Here's another question. Using that same recipe, could the Wild Turkey Master's Keep Cornerstone Rye be twice as good as this Russell's Reserve Single Barrel Rye?
