Open the Bottle - Sagamore Spirit Rye Whiskey Barrel Select
I haven't been so excited about MGP produced whiskey ... well, ever. But once in a while, a really good one comes along and their 95/5 mashbill rye is certainly popular. So, will this be one of those upside surprise bottles or another case of a rich person (founder of Under Armour) throwing some money at a new hobby? I guess it could be both.
This bottle, complete with a tater sticker, came from Spirits Wine and Provisions as part of their monthly whiskey club. It's fun to try new things and the club commits me to doing so and with bottles like this, assure I'm trying something I wouldn't have otherwise bought.
