Open the Bottle - Wild Turkey Master's Keep Cornerstone Rye Whiskey
The first rye whiskey to be part of the Master's Keep collection from Wild Turkey. This Kentucky straight rye whiskey carries a 9 year age statement and is comprised of 9 to 11 year barrels chosen by Eddie Russell just for this release. It seems his son Bruce is influencing releases already as it's been widely reported that Bruce is a huge fan of rye whiskey.
Is this one worth the premium price tag over Wild Turkey 101 Rye, Rare Breed Rye, or even Russell's Reserve rye offerings? I guess we'll see but I already bought this one and I have very high hopes and expectations so let's drink first and we'll worry about valuations later. Cheers!
