Redbreast 12-Year-Old Irish Single Pot Still Whiskey
This is a wonderful example of a single pot still Irish whiskey. Beautiful on the nose and delightful on the palate. Nutty and fruity, clearly influenced by the Sherry barrels it spent time in but not in an overbearing way. I've bought these bottles between $35 and $45 over the years and at those prices, there will always be one in my house. Is it with the MSRP of closer to $60? For me, I'd reluctantly pay that, eventually. For now, I'll keep an eye out at my local store and make sure there is always one waiting in the bunker.
Cheers!
