More surprisingly delicious whiskey from a local, Colorado distillery. The Boulder Spirits Adventure Kit gives us 6 samples of their bourbon and single malt whiskeys and we dig into the bourbons to see what this local Boulder, Colorado distillery is producing. Spoiler: it's really tasty bourbon.
A standard expression, a bottled-in-bond, and a sherry cask finished bourbon that are all quite enjoyable. If you want something different such as bourbon with 44% malted barley in the mashbill, you're going to have to explore smaller distilleries and if Boulder Spirits is available in your neck of the woods, don't pass it up.
